Rhonda Gebert - Don Gorsalitz - DCG Philanthropic Services

Proud of who she is, Rhonda is German on her mom’s side and Red River Métis on her dad’s side with family ties to both Cowessess and Gambler First Nations and ancestral roots and significant histories in Treaty Lands 1 and 4.

DCG’s clients benefit from Rhonda’s experience and proficiency in communications, public relations, training, and event planning. Her fund development knowledge was honed when she worked as the Coordinator of Development and Alumni Relations team at St. Thomas More College at the University of Saskatchewan.

Rhonda’s appreciation for people as individuals, and desire to make a difference in their lives was further enhanced by operating her own business, her training and certification as a personal development facilitator, and as a spin instructor.

A lifelong learner Rhonda recently took classes with the University of Winnipeg through the Master’s in Development Practice (Indigenous) Program. She is learning her traditional languages and the stories of her family and ancestors so her children and next generations may know and stand proud in who they are—a passion she believes translates into her commitment to learning about the impact our clients make and to telling their stories to further their missions.

When Rhonda isn’t making the DCG office (and herself) laugh or writing beautifully compelling stories, you’ll find her working out, hanging out with her hubby and their dogs Sunny, Luna, and Finley, and being the “best mom in the universe”.
