Kent Hartshorn

Kent has nearly 20 years of fundraising leadership and provides a wide range of skills to his clients including principal and major gift fundraising, developing and executing fundraising and campaign plans, portfolio management, staff and board professional development and volunteer training. His strategic knowledge of the ‘art and science of fundraising’ encompasses all avenues of revenue generation with a focus on building lasting, mutually enriching, donor relationships. Kent’s consulting clients include educational institutions and theatre organizations with fundraising campaigns ranging from $1 million to $100 million.
Kent’s devotion to learning, and his skill as a fundraising leader, began as a major gift officer in higher education. He progressed through various roles leading to Executive Director responsible for raising $33 Million per year. He loves coaching and encouraging fundraisers, while providing them with the tools and information they need to succeed.
Outside of work, Kent and Judy enjoy running, hiking and biking. His interest in health and wellness has led him to participate in triathlons and long distance running. Qualifying and participating in the 2016 Boston Marathon was a highlight of these efforts.
As a result of his love of life and family (four grandkids!!), Kent is always having a 9/10 day!
