Ronald McDonald House – Southeastern Alberta

Research & Study

The mission of Ronald McDonald House Charities is to create, find and support programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children and their families. RMHC employees and volunteers lead with compassion. They focus on the critical needs of children and their families. They celebrate the diversity of people and the programs offered. They value their heritage and they operate with accountability and transparency.

In fulfilling its compelling mandate, Ronald McDonald House Alberta now welcomes families into three homes, one each in Calgary, Red Deer and Edmonton. In 2017, more than 1,018 out-of-town families stayed at those houses and more than 2,200 local children received care through their outreach programming. In 2018, DCG was hired to complete a feasibility study in Medicine Hat for a potential Ronald McDonald House in southeastern Alberta, where Ronald McDonald House hopes to expand their vital service into another region of Alberta.
