Visitors of all ages feel curiosity, awe and pride while exploring Government House and the surrounding Edwardian Gardens in Regina. This was the residence and office of the Lieutenant Governors who represented the Crown in the Northwest Territories from 1891 to 1905 and in the Province of Saskatchewan from 1905 until 1945 . The vice-regal office returned to Government House in 1984. Today Government House is a National Historic Site that shares our rich Saskatchewan history. Planned capital improvements would enhance the visitor experience.
